Analog Devices Inc. AD5766/AD5767 16-/12-Bit Voltage Output denseDACs

Analog Devices AD5766/AD5767 16-/12-Bit Voltage Output denseDACs generate output voltage ranges using an external 2.5V reference. Based on the voltage range selected, the designer can adjust the midpoint of the output span. Analog Devices AD5766/AD5767 Voltage Output denseDACs have a minimum output voltage as low as −20V and a maximum output voltage of up to +14V. Output buffers allow the AD5766/AD5767 devices to source or sink up to 20mA. An integrated output voltage multiplexer monitors each of the 16 channels. Designers can superimpose a low-frequency signal onto each DAC output via dedicated dither pins. These dedicated dither pins simplify the design by minimizing the number of required external components. The reduction of external components makes the AD5766/AD5767 well-suited for indium phosphide Mach Zehnder modulator (InP MZM) biasing applications.
