Analog Devices Inc. ADuM140x Quad-Channel Digital Isolators

Analog Devices Inc. ADuM140x Quad-Channel Digital Isolators feature 4/0 channel directionality based on iCoupler® technology. A digital isolator is used to eliminate ground-loop errors that can cause noise, hum and interference in digital components. iCoupler devices remove the design difficulties commonly associated with optocouplers by avoiding the use of light-emitting diodes and photodiodes. The need for external drivers and other discrete components is eliminated with iCoupler products. The digital isolators can be used in general-purpose multichannel isolation, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)/data converter isolation, industrial field bus isolation, transceivers and automotive systems.
