Ⅳ. MOUSER WORD MARKS AND LOGO FORMS
The following is a partial listing of Mouser-owned marks (including word-only marks, and logo marks) and is by no means an exhaustive list of the number of marks in which Mouser claims ownership.
A. MOUSER WORD MARKS
-
Mouser
-
Mouser Electronics
-
mouser.com
No specific font is required, but the marks should be distinguished from surrounding text by, with the use of boldface print or italics.
The word marks for Mouser and Mouser Electronics should be used with an initial capital letter “M”, such as Mouser, Mouser Electronics. The word marks for mouser.com should be used all lower case letter, mouser.com.
B. MOUSER LOGOS
1. Primary Logos
a. Full-Color Mouser Electronics Logo
The full-color Mouser Electronics logo is the primary and preferred logo and should be used wherever possible in full-color, as shown below:
To maintain the integrity of the full-color Mouser logo, and to ensure that Mouser’s full-color logo is visible and distinguishable, and presented in a proper and consistent manner, the “M” element, as well as the word portion of MOUSER ELECTRONICS must remain together. The “M” must not be used as a stand-alone element. The full-color Mouser Electronics logo is permitted to be shown against a white or light grey backdrop/background. No other backdrop/background color can be used.
b. Hybrid Color Logo (Full Color “M” with “Mouser Electronics” in white, all against black background)
A hybrid of the full-color Mouser Electronics logo also may be used, this logo consisting of the “M” element in full color, with the “Mouser Electronics” portion appearing in white, all against a black background, as shown below:
To maintain the integrity of the hybrid logo, and to ensure that Mouser’s hybrid logo is visible and distinguishable, and presented in a proper and consistent manner, the “M” element, as well as the word portion of MOUSER ELECTRONICS must remain together. The “M” must not be used as a stand-alone element. The hybrid logo may only be shown on material that has black background. No other backdrop/background color can be used.
2. Minimum Size and Space
In order to give the Mouser logo (whether in the full-color form, or the hybrid form) maximum legibility and to ensure that the Mouser logo will not be obscured or diminished by other elements, you must allow for an area of clearance around the entire logo. The minimum space clearance is equivalent to the x height of the space between the “M” element and the word portion of the mark, and is shown by the outer dotted lines in the full-color logo form below, as an example.
The Mouser logo (whether in the full-color form, or the hybrid form) shall not be used in any circumstance where the logo is less than 100 pixels wide. Producing the logo at a size smaller than this will jeopardize the integrity of the Mouser logo, and is not allowed.
3. Logo Misuse Examples
Illustrated below are several examples of ways NOT to use the Mouser logos. In an effort to maintain the brand integrity, do not alter the logo forms illustrated in Section IV. B 1. of these Trademark Guidelines or alternatively from the form that is downloaded.
Never change the logo color.
Never alter locations of elements with the logo, or alter the elements.
Never alter the proportions of the logo.

Do not use a font color, other than as expressly permitted in these Trademark Guidelines.

Never place the logo over a photo, textured background, or other colored background where there will not be a sufficient amount of contrast to make the logo legible.
