4D Systems GEN4-uLCD-70D Display Modules
4D Systems GEN4-uLCD-70D Display Modules are designed and manufactured for ease of integration and space requirements. These modules offer a platform suitable for product integration and minimize display-related circuitry's impact. The GEN4-uLCD-70D display modules feature a 7-inch intelligent LCD-TFT display module powered by a DIABLO16 processor. The 7-inch gen4 range also uses a Wide Viewing Angle (WVA) display. This WVA offers a similar effect and visual improvement to an IPS display. DIABLO16 processor includes I2C, SPI, 16 customizable GPIO, quadrature, and analog input. The GEN4-uLCD-70D display modules are RoHS compliant and feature onboard latch-type micro-SD memory card connectors for multimedia storage and data logging. These modules operate at -20°C to 70°C temperature range, 5V supply voltage, and 815mA supply current.

- The GPIO is variously configurable for alternative functions such as:
- 3x I2C channels available
- 1x SPI dedicated for SD Card and 3x configurable SPI channels available
- 1x dedicated and 3x configurable TTL serial common ports are available
- Up to 6 GPIO can be used as pin counters
- Up to 6 GPIO for PWM (simple and Servo)
- Up to 10 GPIO for pulse output
- Up to 14, GPIO can be configured for quadrature encoder inputs (2 channels)
