Capacitech Cable-Based Capacitor

Capacitech Cable-Based Capacitor (CBC) is a physically flexible and wire-shaped supercapacitor. Each cell features a capacitance of 3F rated at 1.6VDC. Cells can be connected in series and parallel to meet the specifications of various applications.

The CBC's unique form factor offers space and aesthetic advantages through the ability to be used off the printed circuit board (PCB) and integrated into other parts of a product of system, such as a wearable, wiring harness, or power cord. On a PCB, the CBC can be routed through areas where space is available or bent to fit inside a small enclosure. The CBC’s high power density can complement existing energy storage products and energy harvesting modules by providing peak-power support. Capacitech CBC is ideal for applications such as Internet of Things (IoT), wearables, automotive systems, emergency lighting, renewable energy systems, uninterruptible backup power supplies, and energy harvesting technologies.
