Mikroe Riverdi Display Modules

Mikroe Riverdi Display Modules are high-quality cost-effective displays for use in consumer or industrial applications. There are 23 options including 5" or 7" capacitive touch with black or white bezels. Also available are 3", 4", or 5" resistive touch with metal mounting frames, and bright TFTs for projects not needing touch screens. Each display is powered by an FT8xx graphics controller from FTDI and compatible with MikroElektronika's Visaul TFT.

Riverdi offers modules with FTDI FT8xx controllers. The touchscreen initialization and handling processes are carried out by the FT8xx controller. The user can read and register information regarding touch coordinates for up to five fingers or data about performed gestures. All video processing is handled by EVE (Embedded Video Engine). EVE combines display, touch and audio into a single chip, providing an optimized solution with high quality graphics.
