Texas Instruments TMP6EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TMP6EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is a plug-and-play system to test and evaluate the linear silicon TMP6 thermistor. The TMP61/TMP61-Q1 Silicon Linear Thermistors have a linear positive temperature coefficient (PTC) that results in a uniform, consistent temperature coefficient resistance (TCR) across a wide operating temperature range.

Powered with a USB or a CR2032 coin cell battery, the TMP6EVM is a standalone module supporting the TMP116 digital sensor and two analog channels. The TMP116/TMP116N Digital Temperature Sensors can be used as a local temperature reference. The Texas Instruments TMP116 provides a 16-bit temperature result with a resolution of 0.0078°C and an accuracy of up to ±0.2°C with no calibration. The sensor section of the PCB may be separated from the main PCB to support prototyping in a system where the sensor is remotely located from the host controller. The LCD displays real-time streaming of temperature measurements at 2Hz.
